Patients at Forever Fit receive access to our various life sport exercise classes:
We offer our various life sport exercise classes daily. Each of these activities is designed to be enjoyable and maintainable for the long-term, as opposed to extreme exercise programs like P90X or Insanity.
In addition, patients receive individual sessions with our exercise physiologist (EP) either once per month or once per week (depending on the patient’s membership plan). The EP will develop a personalized exercise plan that the patient can perform at home using resistance bands and hand weights provided to the patient by Forever Fit.
Why does Forever Fit employ Exercise Physiologists (EP) rather than Personal Trainers?
Many people confuse EPs and personal trainers.
The key difference between these two professions is that an exercise physiologist holds a 4-year degree in kinesiology or sport science, and is accredited by a national organization. EPs are qualified to work with not only healthy people, but also those who have chronic medical conditions, illnesses, or injuries.
Personal trainers, due to their lack of training, are generally only qualified to work with people who are already in excellent health.
